Introductory MTB ride for females, lead by females

A social introduction to racing
Entry from 9am
9.30 am—Primary School & Under 7s “Car-park” Event
10 am—Graded Scratch Race (A, B & C Grades)
11.30 am—Handicap pairs “Poker Race”
Racing in pairs over 1 hour, you get a playing card at the end of each lap - team with the best poker hand at the end wins!
Free entry for MTBA members, $15 dollars for non-members (race license). Primary school kids $5
Club will provide free BBQ lunch afterwards!

11 folks had a great trip down to the Wombat Track today - the Wombat MTB Club is doing a great job managing the trails.
Next social ride is another road trip - this time to Mount Cole.

Rocky Riders have released their WInter Calender for 2009, with a great mix of social rides, club races, a trip to the World Championships and the Castlemaine MTB Festival, incorporating the renowned Castlemaine 6-Hour Enduro.
Calender can be downloaded here, with more details to be posted on the website closer to each event.
The next ride is Sunday 31st May to Woodend.
Meet at the Castlemaine Tennis Club (approx. 100m south of Castlemaine Cycles) at 9am. Depending on numbers there will likely be a fast and not-so fast group.

Entries are now open for the 3rd rd of the Victorian State Enduro Series to be run by the neighbouring Bendigo MTB Club to be held on the 24th May. The 6hr will start and transition will be at Cavagna's Rd in Sedgwick starting at 10.00am to 4.00pm. Get your mates together and click here to enter.
