ENDURO UPDATE – Friday 13 July 2007

Entries are flowing in, and after some rain in the last week, the course is in great condition so make sure you get your entries in by Wednesday. Entries received as of Thursday 12 July can be found here. According to “The Bureau” a big High pressure system will form later in the week, ensuring we will get a day even better than last year (is that possible?)

Non-enduro riders are more than welcome to join in Saturday’s Events and BBQ for only $10. Please email enduro@rockyriders.com by 5pm Wednesday if you or a friend/family member will be joining us but not riding the enduro, so we can cater appropriately, and bring $10 cash on the day.

About the Trivial Pursuit

  • Teams of 2 - you can form a team with anyone who has entered the Enduro or the Saturday night events
  • Each team will receive a “disc” containing the six trivial pursuit colour categories
  • At the start of the race, one rider from each team will head out to do a lap on a short XC course (approximately 1km). When the rider completes their lap, they enter transition and can request a trivia question from the category of their choice. If they get it right, they win a “wedge”, if they get it wrong they don’t. Either way, they pass the disc to their partner, who then does a lap, enters transition, requests a question etc. etc.
  • The winner will be the team that first correctly answers a question from each colour category, and gets 6 wedges
  • Bonus wedges may be available – details will be provided on the day
