The next
CVRR social ride
will be on Sunday
the 1st of
November. This time
we will explore a
little known
rolling jem of a
trail known only to
a hand full of
crusty locals which
links Muckleford and
Newstead. We're
calling it the
"Red White and
Blue Mine
ride". The
ride will be
roughly 3 hours
return and all
riders are expected
to be self
sufficient in
regards to water,
food , spares and
fitness. It is a
social ride so the
emphasis will be on
enjoyment and should
be suitable to any
one with adaquate
trail riding
abbilities and
fitness.
This
is an official club
ride so for non MTBA
members there will
be a $5 fee for a
day licence.

NETWORK CONNECTION DETAILS:
Bring your own wireless capable laptop and you can use it at the race site to pick up results during and after the race. Family and friends that come along to watch can follow your progress during the race and you’ll be able to get race results on your laptop as soon as you’re finished. There will be a wireless network with the ID “RockyRidersNet” at the race site. It will be unsecured, so it will not require a username or password. Once you’re on the network, simply open a web browser and you’ll be directed to the race results page. Race results will be in PDF format and updated every 5-10 minutes during the race.

The Rocky Riders are hosting a social ride around the Jubber Land track this Sunday, 1 July 2007. For the youngsters (under 13s) there will be a come‘n’try session from 9.30 – 10.30 am (must have own serviceable mountain bike, helmet and a parent/guardian to sign insurance form). Departing at 11am the big kids can have a play, with a social ride around Jubber Land and maybe a few of the nearby trails for those who want more. Fast and Slow groups. Come and do a few laps of the Castlemaine Enduro 6-hour Course.
Option 1 - Meet at the carpark behind the information centre at 10am and ride (via mountain bike trails) out to the course (approx 40 minutes) do a few laps and ride back to castlemaine
Option 2 - Meet at the enduro course at 10.45.
